Today was a great day...went to the lake with my sisters and my new friend Rosita.
Today was Cardio X and it was so hard because I did after the lake. I am really trying to make my 90 days counts and stay focus even if my days are long and energy is low.

Loving my second round of P90X. I have decided to do the Lean version and I am having lots of fun!
I am also doing cooler 1 from The eat clean diet book so my meals are complete and clean. Can't wait to see how my body is going to react with all the new changes!!

Just started round 2 of p90X and this time we are going to do the Classic.
Jose and I are really enjoying the time we spend together when we work out. I also like that he is there to help me push threw the workouts and do just a little more when I am about to give up.
We are eating clean and trying to stay focus but after 3 wks off the focus is not there yet! I know it will be once we start feeling lean again!
Yesterday was Shoulders and arms
Today will be YOGA which I HATE!!! It is so hard to do but I know it is good for our core and our body. I just wish we didn't have to do it! :-(
I am struggling with my meals today not sure why but I am really not that hungry.

I am finally on a stand still but with lots to accomplish in this month. I am planning for 1 high school student, 1 middle school and 2 elementary. Our way of teaching is changing some due to the Lord working in my life and changing my view on how to live life!
I also started my 2nd round of p90X and after taking off 3 wks I am back to day one!! I feel the pain everywhere and I am exhausted.
Life is about seasons and changes that I will have to learn to adjust to and follow the Lords lead in my life.
So after that has been said I will be using my blog to talk about my new round of p90X my clean eating and how our home is doing with the new approach in homeschooling.
I am thankful for all the Lord has taught me this past school year and what is ahead for us!

Okay so it has been a while since I blogged and lots have been going on in my life!
Especially in my spiritual walk! Let me start from the beginning...I became a believer a follower of Jesus Christ in 1995 and right after that my life changed dramatically. I have wanted to live for the Lord and be used by him to bring others to him from day one. The problem was that I started to depend on men and what they consider was a Christ-centered person to live for the Lord. I have to say that for the last 15 years I have learned so much about the church and the people that go to church.
Last year my faith was challenged and for the first time in my life I decided to shut down all of the voices and allowed the Lord to guide my path. What a shocker you might say but what I have learned is that many Christians follow mans rules and not the Bible.
This year I have grown so much in the Word. I am in a church that have taught me how to study God's word in depth. We our family as a whole have been stripping all of these layers and are learning to expose ourselves to the TRUTH and live a life with Purpose and Meaning even if it is Not popular with many.
How sad it is that so many are not walking a life that one day they will look back and know it was not wasted!
We are enjoying time in the Word as a family and sharing so much with each other!
Our new theme is from a book by John Piper "Don't waste your Life away" and our song is "The Motions" by Mathew West!
We our family have made a commitment to live our life with PURPOSE and PASSION and to build treasures in Heaven and not on earth where it is a vapor.

Today I heard a sermon from a pastor who said that Jesus was not popular so when we are liked and accepted by many we need to check ourselves and make sure we are walking with God and not with PEOPLE!

That is what I had this weekend at The Mom's Heart Conference.
I was with 5 other moms that want to make sure they pour their hearts to their kids. Making God the center of it all,teaching them all about our God.
I left with 3 new friends Chrissy, Hope and Rosita and stronger bonds with Stacey and Ann. My sister Edith went and she and I already have strong bonds but it was neat to see how we start this new journey of raising little girls to love being mothers and Christian women.
We laughed, we cried and just had plain fun!
So much I have learned:
1- I need rest yes rest! Sleep and time without the computer, chores, schedules and just rest!
2- I need to make my life a celebration everyday! Beauty,Mind,Hospitality,Feasting,Music and lots of HUGS!
3- Don't focus on the weakness but on the blessings!
4- Keep endurance ( Hebrews 10:35 and 36
5- Jesus expects less that I think-- WOW!
6- Where there is no God there is no Beauty.....love this!
7- Motherhood is a calling not a duty.
8- To give Life you must have Life
9- Journal more in detail about my life
10-Be faithful in the times that have been given
11- We become useful when we have a heart for God
12- Faith is a root from which hope grows
13- Fix my eyes on Jesus so that I may finish the race!
As I review my notes I grow excited in what I could become when I put God in the center of my home!
Outside my window.... the sun is out and Spring is peaking itself I am thankful for.... my Christ who died for my sins One of my favorite things.... a quiet time with my Christ Lord
